Shannon Barnes

Principal

Shannon is a project manager within CSG’s Child Welfare and Child Support practices. She is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional and an International Software Certifications Board Certified Manager of Software Quality Assurance with more than 30 years of public sector experience leading state human services information systems and operations. Shannon has managed numerous large-scale system modernization efforts and has extensive experience recovering and managing high-risk projects using effective communication, application of rigorous project management controls, and transparent accountability practices for state and vendor project team members. Shannon has experience establishing and managing Project Management Offices, overseeing business and technical analysis activities, and conducting systems analysis. She also brings expertise in planning for contingencies, risks, and business continuity, conducting system implementation and training, and supporting states with federal compliance and system certification.
