Melissa Ozbirn

Melissa is a business analyst in CSG’s Child Welfare practice. She has more than 15 years of experience working in child welfare programs, including supervising and training child welfare specialists; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and policies; and collaborating with community resources to coordinate services. Melissa also has experience providing organizational change management for a Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System implementation project. She uses business process improvement principles to develop and implement plans, systems, and workflows to improve timeliness and operation of services that better support state and local citizens. Melissa has created and presented trainings and tools on child welfare practices and procedures for incoming county and state staff.
