Brenda is business analyst in CSG’s Healthcare and Human Services practice. She is a PMI-certified Project Mangement Professional with more than five years of Medicaid experience, including working as a schedule manager for a large-scale Medicaid IT Project Management Office (PMO) in Kentucky. Brenda brings extensive knowledge of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) funding requirements, financial analysis, and technical writing expertise, including Advance Planning Document (APD) and State Medicaid Health IT plan development. She recently served as the project manager for the Kentucky Department for Medicaid Services APD Team, responsible for leading the successful transformation of Kentucky’s APD development and management processes. This project resulted in CMS recognition, requesting that Kentucky share APD guidance, process improvements, and best practices to 22 other states.
