Brian is a child support program expert with over 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. For more than 14 years, he worked for the State of Kansas, including serving as the Automation Manager for Kansas’ child support system that became one of the first in the country to achieve federal certification. Following this project success, he continued to serve the State in contracting roles as the Deputy Director of the State Disbursement Unit and Project Director of the Child Support Customer Service Center before shifting into a consultant role, supporting large-scale child support implementations in Illinois, Nebraska, Nevada, and South Carolina.
Since joining CSG in 2021, Brian has leveraged his expertise to support projects in Indiana, Texas, and most recently, Alaska, where he currently serves as CSG’s Quality Assurance Project Manager for the child support system modernization. Brian has led the CSG QA team in establishing quality standards, performing quality control reviews, and developing and executing a user acceptance testing strategy. In October 2025, the system successfully went live, and Brian will continue to support the State of Alaska Department of Revenue as it seeks final system certification from the Office of Child Support Services.
Brian says, “When I first started in child support, it was just another job until the next one came along. Over time, as I learned about the program and the lives it impacts, it grew into a passion—and eventually, a career. Along the way, I’ve made lifelong friends in consulting and feel fortunate to work alongside so many talented, like-minded colleagues at CSG.”
Thank you, Brian, for applying your expertise and leadership to positively impact children and families across the country!
