DDI Readiness: Preparing Your Child Welfare Program for IT Modernization
Child welfare system modernization projects are technically complex and organizationally challenging, requiring significant expertise, time, and resources to implement effectively. CSG recommends that child welfare programs execute DDI Readiness activities to help maintain project momentum and to lay a solid project foundation by preparing staff and stakeholders, refining current business processes, readying legacy system data and environments for conversion, and updating necessary forms, reports, and interfaces. This document provides our state government clients with an outline for how to prepare their child welfare programs for the DDI phase of a system modernization project.
