The Missouri Department of Social Services, Medicaid Audit & Compliance Division, is responsible for enrolling all Medicaid providers for the entire Missouri Medicaid Enterprise. Currently, the Division manages more than 125,000 provider enrollment transactions annually with a 30-year-old legacy system. In an effort to increase program efficiency, the Division has embarked on a journey to modernize its Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). The current phase of this modernization consists of the implementation of an updated Provider Enrollment solution, Pharmacy Benefits Administrator solution, and a Prior Authorization and Clinical Services solution.
CSG Provides Project Management Support
Missouri contracted with CSG to provide project management support services for their internal project management office throughout the implementation of these modernized solutions. CSG works closely with the State to coordinate vendor activities, monitor project status, and review and report on project artifacts. CSG also supports the federal certification process with CMS and ensures funding requirements are met.
