The Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division (FSD), administers the State’s child support program, overseeing more than 280,000 cases statewide. To keep its Missouri Automated Child Support System (MACSS) aligned with the needs of the business and enhance customer service, FSD is converting the legacy front end screens into a modern web delivered user interface for more intuitive case management, more efficient navigation, and time saving features. This will move the Missouri Child Support program forward in its effort to modernize MACSS without significantly disrupting casework.
Project Management Assessment and Support
FSD engaged CSG to support the ongoing MACSS Modernization project and ensure the end results aligned with the goals and objectives identified in the project charter. We reviewed deliverables and interviewed stakeholders to determine the appropriateness of the project organization, staffing and resource allocation, timeline and scope, documentation, and budget and contract management. Our team delivered a Project Assessment Report and is now supporting the execution of the Go-Forward Strategy and Plan. The result will improve the look and feel of MACSS’ caseworker screens, streamline navigation, and enable more intuitive training for new staff.
