The Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) delivers and funds a wide range of programs and services as the state’s multi-faceted health and human services agency. DSS serves over 1 million residents of all ages in the state’s 169 cities and towns, supporting the basic needs of children, families, older adults, and persons with disabilities.
Enterprise Project Management Office Services
CSG was selected by DSS to provide Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) services for its EPMO Portfolio Management Project. The DSS EPMO is a centralized business function that supports and governs large projects and initiatives with project intake, delivery, and oversight to increase the transparency of project activities and performance.
CSG is supporting DSS leadership in performing EPMO activities to align business imperatives with strategic objectives of individual projects. The CSG team conducts research and leverages project management tools to provide industry best practices to DSS. Our team also supports training development and delivery, facilitates template and process reviews, provides reporting throughout the systems development life cycle, manages risks and issues, and conducts federal reporting.
