Team CSG Spotlight: Joe Mindock

Joe is a technology and cybersecurity subject matter expert who has worked in the information systems industry for over 30 years. He started his career in 1992 as a consultant providing technical expertise for various clients in the manufacturing, banking, utility, and government industries. Joe joined CSG in 2007 and has since supported more than 25 state government projects across Medicaid, integrated eligibility, child support, child welfare, unemployment insurance, motor vehicle, revenue, and criminal justice systems. He has been an invaluable member of many project teams, filling many roles including developer, technical architect, project manager, security lead, and project advisor.

Currently, Joe serves as the Senior Technical Advisor for CSG’s Methodologies and Practice Advisory team, providing his expertise to more than 40 active projects across the company. He also develops and delivers training to our project teams, mentors our technical analysts, and serves as the moderator of CSG’s Technical Discussion Group. Joe has been at the forefront of CSG’s research and understanding of evolving AI technology and is an active participant in the NASCIO Generative AI Discussion Group. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, a Cloud Certified Security Professional, and a GXPN/GWAPT/GCPN certified penetration tester.

Joe says, “I have spent many years building a number of different computer applications in a variety of ways. I am thankful for the opportunity to pass along the lessons I’ve learned along the way to our staff and clients, helping ensure that the systems being built allow them to serve their customers as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
