Partnering with CMS to take MITA to the Next Level

The Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA), established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), provides a framework for states to align their Medicaid modernization efforts in order to transform program and technology domains. To take MITA to the next level, CMS turned to CSG.

CSG knows MITA 3.0

CMS selected CSG to provide project management and subject matter expertise in the development of MITA Framework 3.0. CSG incorporated ACA, HITECH, CCIIO, and other regulations into MITA 3.0. Our team developed the MITA 3.0 Business, Information, and Technology Architecture updates, and enhanced the Concept of Operations, Maturity Model, and other key Framework artifacts.

The CSG team also provided MITA 3.0 training to federal, state, and industry groups including the CMS Central and Regional Offices, the National Medicaid EDI Healthcare (NMEH) Workgroup, the State Technical Advisory Group (S-TAG), and the Technical Architecture Committee (TAC).
