CSG Government Solutions, a national leader in government program modernization, today announced that Shannon Barnes is serving as the National Academies of Sciences’ Transportation Research Board Information Systems and Technology Committee Chair.

Ms. Barnes is a Principal in CSG’s Program Modernization practice.  She is a certified Project Management Professional with over 30 years of experience leading transportation information technology projects in the public and private sectors. Ms. Barnes is a former Chief Information Officer for the Idaho Transportation Department.

The Information Systems and Technology Committee identifies emerging technologies, promotes research that encourages innovative approaches for productivity improvements, and supports the use of data analytics to improve safety, system operations, and security of our transportation systems.
